Our History
The Agency for Economic Development & Empowerment (ÆDE) was founded in 2006 as a Liberian development and consulting organization established to strengthen institutions, empower communities, and expand access to sustainable economic opportunities.
ÆDE’s work is grounded in the understanding that effective development requires capable institutions, skilled individuals, and communities that actively participate in and lead their own development. From this foundation, the organization delivers structured training, enterprise development, and institutional support to public, private, and community stakeholders.
Over time, ÆDE has worked across multiple sectors with organizations and communities to strengthen institutions, build capacity, and expand access to skills and economic opportunities.
