Who We Are
Founded in 2006 during Liberia’s post-war recovery period, the Agency for Economic Development & Empowerment (ÆDE) was established to promote grassroots economic empowerment, community development, and sustainable livelihoods. Today, ÆDE has evolved into a trusted development and consulting organization that works with communities, government institutions, development partners, and private sector actors to deliver capacity building, research, enterprise development, institutional strengthening, and advisory services while maintaining its commitment to inclusive growth, peacebuilding, and the empowerment of women and youth.
